Hello and welcome to the Otters class who are taught by Miss Schofield.
We are an enthusiastic and eager group of learners who have just begun our exciting journey in Key Stage 2! Our class consists of 14 children, and we are taught every morning by Miss Schofield, who covers all aspects of English, Maths, Spelling, and Reading. In the afternoons, we dive into Science and the foundation subjects, exploring a wide range of topics that spark our curiosity and deepen our understanding of the world around us.
Our school days are busy and filled with engaging lessons both inside and outside the classroom. Now that we are in Key Stage 2, our focus is on developing independence and taking responsibility for our own learning. To help us build important life skills, each of us is allocated a classroom job that changes every half term, giving everyone a chance to contribute and learn new skills.
In addition to our classroom learning, Otters participate in weekly PE lessons, where we develop our physical skills, teamwork, and confidence. We also visit Nye Bevan swimming pool for a 45-minute swimming lesson every week throughout the entire academic year, helping us become confident and capable swimmers.
Keep an eye on our dojo page for regular updates and photographs showcasing the many exciting activities we enjoy at school!
